GOLF AHEAD: Notify the scorekeeper by email or text message
Ask the attendant for a “Golf Ahead Score Card”
Bank as many rounds as you need to cover your absenteeism.
Score card with no attendant’s stamp will not be accepted.
Score keeper will verify and enter all Golf Ahead scores.

NEW HANDICAP SYSTEM: For the purposes of calculating handicaps all league scores from the previous season are held in the database and are included in calculating handicaps on an ongoing basis as follows:
A league members handicap is based on a members’ best 10 scores out of their last 20 rounds;
Where league members have less than 20 scores in the data base, handicaps will be based on:
The best 9 rounds where 19 rounds have been played:
The best 8 rounds where 18 rounds have been played;
The best 7 rounds where 17 rounds have been played;
The best 6 rounds where 15-16 rounds have been played;
The best 5 rounds where 13-14 rounds have been played;
The best 4 rounds where 11-12 rounds have been played;
The best 3 rounds where 9-10 rounds have been played;
The best 2 rounds where 7-8 rounds have been played: and
The best 1 round for the 1st 6 rounds.
Handicaps will continue to be adjusted throughout the playoffs.
TEAM SELECTION DURING ANNUAL DRAFT
ALL LEAGUE PLAYERS WILL BE PLACED INTO POOLS BASED ON LEAGUE ATTENDANCE FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON.
POOL A PLAYERS WILL BE MADE UP OF PLAYERS WITH THE HIGHEST LEAGUE ATTENDANCE FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON.
THE FIRST PLAYER ON EACH TEAM WILL BE INVITED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO ACT AS CAPTAIN AND ATTEND THE ANNUAL DRAFT MEETING TO SELECT THE REMAINING TEAM MEMBERS;
ON LEAGUE DRAFT NIGHT THE ORDER OF SELECTION FOR THE FIRST ROUND WILL BE DETERMINED BY PICKING NUMBERS FROM A HAT;
BASED ON THIS PRIORITY, EACH TEAM WILL SELECT ONE PLAYER FROM POOL A;
PLAYERS WITH THE NEXT HIGHEST ATTENDANCE FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR WILL BE PLACED INTO POOL B;
SECOND ROUND SELECTIONS WILL BE MADE BY THE CAPTAINS IN REVERSE ORDER SELECTING FIRST BY THE CAPTAIN THAT HAD THE HIGHEST DRAFT NUMBER IN THE FIRST ROUND AND CONTINUING UP UNTIL THE TEAM THAT SELECTED FIRST IN THE FIRST ROUND GOES LAST IN THE SECOND ROUND;
PLAYERS WITH THE NEXT HIGHEST ATTENDANCE FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR WILL BE PLACED INTO POOL C;
FOLLOWING THE SAME PRIORITY USED IN ROUND ONE, PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED IN ROUND THREE FROM POOL C;
POOL D WILL CONSIST OF ANY REMAINING PLAYERS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR NOT YET SELECTED THROUGH THE FIRST THREE ROUNDS. ANY NEW PLAYERS THAT HAVE SIGNED UP WILL ALSO BE INCLUDED IN POOL D;
USING THE SAME PRIORITY USED DURING ROUND TWO, EACH CAPTAIN WILL SELECT THE FINAL PLAYER FOR THEIR TEAM.
ANY PLAYERS REMAINING IN POOL D WILL BECOME SPARES FOR THE CURRENT SEASON. PLAYERS NOT SELECTED CAN IMPROVE THEIR CHANCES OF SELECTION THE FOLLOWING SEASON BY INCREASING THEIR ATTENDANCE DURING THE CURRENT YEAR.
LEAGUE POINT SYSTEM
NET SCORE: Lowest 3 net scores used for every team.
QUALIFICATION: a) 3 team players
- b) 2 team players + 1 spare
- c) 1 team player + 2 spares
- d) If no spares are available enter “Net 38 “per spare
POINTS: Total points available is determined by the # of teams in the league
Low team net is awarded highest # of points.
High team net is awarded (1 point)
Team with all players absent is awarded (0 points)
TIE: Calculate total # of points available by the teams involved
Divide total points by the # of teams involved
SKINS AND CLOSEST TO THE PIN

League players will be divided into two handicap levels for the purpose of Skins Game. Once all players are registered, half the players registered for skins will be placed into the A Flight based on handicap. The other half of the league registered for skins will be placed in the B Flight.

GOLF AHEAD: Permitted but must be approved by the committee.

FINAL DAY CHAMPIONSHIPS
1st, 2nd and 3rd place within each division based on handicaps as of the end of the playoff season.
COMMITTEE: Consist of 5 members
TERM: 3 year term for all committee members
2 members will stay to assist new committee members
ELECTION: Nominees will be accepted in writing during the season
2 remaining committee members will select from nominees.
